Students and alumni of Ravenclaw all bear the same ideals in mind: to strive to be the best one can and to learn as much as one can.
We might not all have the same interests... Some of us wish to pursue different fields. Some of us may find that while we identify so clearly with Ravenclaw, we are in fact not brilliant in every subject that crosses our path. Ravenclaws are burdened with the stereotype of the "brilliant snobs." We are the ones who people call on when they need answers, but we often have questions of our own. (And intolerance is an air that often follows us, though it is conceded by others and a miscalculation of many. We can be quite charming!)
Ravenclaws do not have to excel at every subject and sport to prove their worth. A true Ravenclaw finds their interest and path and does whatever it takes to succeed where it matters. Some of us are writers, bookworms, mathematicians, athletes, historians, psychoanalysts and even chefs!
